His Little Witness is everything you want in a dark romance book! This was my first time reading from this author and I can honestly say I’m impressed!

The story follows Wren and Silas two unlikely individuals through by chance come together after witnessing a horrible and traumatic event. I enjoyed reading the dual POV as I get to see and read what they were thinking and what was interpreted between the two.

Wren is sharp, handles her own, and tough. Then we have Silas who by all accounts has a tough exterior, doesn’t cross boundaries, get the job done kind of guy until he meets her. From the moment he meets her you can feel his walls come down “ My fingers grazed the inside of her wrist as I did it, and the touch sent a current through me that I had absolutely no business feeling.” He’s constantly reminding himself that she’s a job to distance himself from the feelings he’s having for her. The need to protect her, the need to be the one she finds comfort, safety and honestly he wants her to feel loved by him. Both are not too different both want to feel love and at first are in denial, and fight the thoughts and feeling until it becomes too consuming.

Loved how quick of a great read this was. I love the push and pull, the dual POV, the fast action of it all. I was transported to a dark world where although it maybe dark there always seems to be light around in the least suspecting places and people! It left me wondering if there will be a second! I can’t wait to read more books of Kindra Cress! I hope an audiobook becomes available for this one!
