What problem is Pen Pinery trying to solve?
We're passionate about NaNoWriMo and have successfully completed it every year for the past five years. However, a recurring issue has been that once I finish, I tend to get lost on what to do next. We firmly believe that writing your novel is only the initial step, and the most challenging part lies in building an audience. I was fustrated with the lack of readers. So we started thinking, what if NaNo was more social?
We took everything that worked for us during NaNo and built a social platform around authors. Now, readers can easily discover what you're working on, explore available publications for purchase, and access blog posts to stay updated. With your support, Pen Pinery can become the platform for all authors to launch and sustain their writing careers, regardless of their goals.

Already written a novel? Add it to your author catalog by creating an author profile and sharing your publications. We're not a marketplace but a catalog of authors' work (similar to GoodReads). It's quick and easy, and you'll soon see new readers finding your novels faster than ever!
How do we help you with your writing goals as an author?
We offer dedicated profiles for each author. Simply create an account to share your publications or begin a work in progress (WIP).
Once you've created an account, you can create Works in Progress (WIPs) and monitor your word count, all while setting and achieving daily word count goals to help you stay on course to complete your writing. We motivate you by awarding badges as achievements, ensuring your continued inspiration. Our community feed also keeps the entire community updated on your progress when significant milestones are achieved. This provides an excellent opportunity to naturally connect with new readers and obtain community feedback.
