I really enjoyed the world and characters in this story. The synergy between the main characters is alluring. They handle their hardships and misunderstandings maturely without the reader feeling frustrated at their development. The plot kept me interested and wanting to know what happens next.
I however, did find the flow between chapters occasionally slow or disjointed. The writing style didn’t bother me, because I felt it was to convey how straight forward and or blunt the characters were. That being said it caused some parts to become slightly repetitive or confusing.
Overall, I believe it is worth the read. I am looking forward to these characters new adventures and new acquaintances. Thank you to the author for writing and letting me read the ARC on Pen Pinery.
