Five of you have the manuscript now. That's not a small number, not to me.
There's a particular kind of quiet that comes before anyone else has read a book, and you're standing in it. Read at whatever pace the mountain requires. If a scene asks you to go back and read it twice, that's not a stumble. That's the architecture working as designed.
One practical note, since precision matters here as much as anywhere else: Amazon doesn't open reviews until the book is actually live, August 11. Nothing you write before then will post, so there's no clock running yet, only the story.
I'll write again on launch day with the exact steps. Until then, this is just the five of you, a blizzard, and two people who are terrible at saying what they mean.
