Quick note: I've uploaded an updated version of "The Alpine Pitch". Based on early feedback I added a new chapter - the moment Maya and Julian's three weeks of restraint finally breaks, by the hearth.
If you haven't started, the latest version is ready for you; if you're already reading, no need to start over, but the new chapter is worth going back for.
One heads-up: it takes the book from closed-door to a single on-page scene, still more restraint than heat.
