Claire lives in Dorset with her husband and one of her five children. So always some sort of drama ensuing. Having grown up and worked on farms the environment had always been an interest. After her marriage Claire’s career moved from the farm into the laboratory until her first child was born electing to become a stay at home mum although she hates this term as it implies it is a less important job. With the birth of her third child Claire resumed her career within the food industry and by the time the fifth baby arrived Claire found herself back in the laboratory. With the children grown up Claire has moved back into farming. Which is a constant inspiration for more books. Claire is the author of the fantasy series The Season Series as well as the dystopian series Inherited Extinction series.
