The blurb hooked me immediately, and I really liked the atmosphere of the story from the start. The fake marriage/undercover dynamic creates a lot of tension, and I enjoyed the chemistry between Elena and Adrian, especially because both characters felt mature and emotionally guarded in a believable way.

I also appreciated the writing style, it felt very polished and easy to sink into, with a nice balance between romance and suspense. You can tell a lot of care went into building the characters and their relationship.
