This is a first time read of Jordyn Haart for me and definitely won't be the last! I received an ARC of Bonds of Shame, Bonds of Lust from Pen Pinery and fell in love with the characters and their stories.

This books takes you through Lacey trying to figure out life after catching her husband cheating. She explores sexual desires that have been awaken after the divorce. Lacey has multiple sexual partners, whom she has different experiences with. Each character we meet is special in their own way.

The beginning of the book felt a bit all over the place for me. I understand it was setting up for the story. The book really picked up after Lacey decided to act on her sexual desires. The spice was off the charts and never felt rushed. It was really refreshing to see FF and MF scenes in the book. I also really enjoyed that the book had heartfelt moments. It was told perfectly as a newly divorced women who is finding herself again and gaining confidence.

It does end on a cliffhanger that leaves you yearning for more! Can't wait for the second book!
