Guarded

Guarded is the first book in The Boston Renegades series written by Eden Sloane. I was lucky enough to get a ARC copy of this E-book and let me start by saying this book is so worth it!
This book had a great story line and also had a lot of spice. I would say 3.5 to 4 Chili Peppers. It is a bit of a slow burn at first but it won’t disappoint you.

Now this book like I said is the first and it follows the story of Kat (MFC) and Sebastian (MMC). Kat being a Journalist and Sebastian as a Hockey player.

Kat was a very tortured character. She went through the wringer. No family left only her brother. She was a very passionate woman that loved her brother deeply and would do anything to save him and anyone she loved. But protecting him came at a cost and the emotional term oil she went through had me in tears. She deserved her HEA.

Sebastian was a Golden Retriever type of character. Single dad went through hell and continued to go through hell because of his Ex-Wife and he deserved to just be happy. He was just a big teddy bear that’s all I seen. He was so loving and was head over heels in love with Kat. He also deserved his HEA.

Side characters were just as good.
Loving, funny group.

They gave Kat a whole new family.

This book I would recommend reading you won’t be disappointed.

Can’t wait for book two. I’m hoping I can get the ARC for that one as well.
