The magic in this book was interesting, i wish we got to peer a bit more into the classes! I was about 40% into the book and started reading faster! I needed to know what was going on. I didn't expect an actual mystery in the book. I think Reid is my favorite character! He's snarky and straight to the point but you can tell he cares about his friends so much! Emlyn oh he angered me more than once! And I felt so bad for Caeo, he had such a hard life and it's like he couldn't catch a break. Alexis seemed like such a nice friend, relaxed and easy going. A few of her actions I didn't like at all. Towards Reid at least i felt she was a bad friend. The kind of thing i expected from Sophie. Caeo's mom constantly gave me weird vibes, from the beginning and finding out more about her just confirmed that *without any spoilers * something is not right with her. Holy love triangles! I didn't expect more than one! So much drama, i love it! I'm excited to see more of Owena next book! I was really confused but when the plot twists hit I was in shock!!! I can't believe how cruel some people are in this book but in reality people are cruel in real life too.
