Hellebore Fields: A Dark Academia Hockey Romance

This is a little step away from my usual reads, but I enjoyed the change. He is the sports star on campus, intense and has a past that is whispered about in the halls. She sees the good in everyone, academic and kind. When they come together, the passion is intense.

It's not just a dark love story, though; there is an underlying mystery, believable red flags and reasons for ignoring them, and that really made the story worth it for me.

Would I want him as a boyfriend, no, but was it a good read, yes.
A great read for anyone who likes dark academia with a little sport thrown in.
