Book 3 in the Shackled Oath series does not disappoint in any way, shape or form. The detail, the emotions, the mental states, nothing has been glossed over, it feels real, hard, honest. The world building & character development of Azaria & her squad make this a great series to read. Azaria is one of my favourite FMCs & I've loved watching her develop as the story continues & I'm really looking forward to book 4.

Where do I start. I love this series, the characters, their banter, their comradery & the development they've all gone through. This is well written, with a good pace & a great storyline. We've seen Azaria & her team come through many things, seen her come undone, seen her refuse to give up & pick the pieces back up. This time, it's a journey of discovery, for Azaria & for Quinton & we see Dain in a new light too as well as a few surprises from the team. My emotions were all over the place, I cried happy tears, sad tears, I laughed, I smirked & saw our character breath & forget to breath. This was spicier than the previous books, but it didn't take anything away from the story. I was totally gripped & emotionally invested from start to end. I thought I knew where this was heading, I thought I knew what to expect, but the ending knocked me & I desperately need book 5 now.

I absolutely loved this book & I'm so grateful to have been given the chance to read & review it. Zenna has managed to pull me into her world & care for her characters. We have a strong FMC with a troubled backstory that's hinted at but not revealed until later. She's leading her team, standing up against bullies, finding herself, allowing herself to be vulnerable but also in control. You know it's a good book when you finish it & try to see if there's a book 2, I really hope there is.
