Loved how the story is centered around a woman who fights back against tradition that seems to be more for control than anything. The fact that it has dragon shifters is what originally drew me to the first book in the series. The strong independent FMCs Karen Hunter writes about had me wanting to continue onto Of Ice and Innocence. The book does not leave you with cliff hangers each story of a couple is completed at the end. This could technically work as a standalone however, strongly encourage to start with the first book.
