Carve Me Golden by Mara J. Ova was a fun and engaging ski romance that combined athletic ambition, celebrity-crush vibes, and plenty of romantic chemistry. I really enjoyed having a strong female athlete at the center of the story. She had her own goals and challenges, which made her feel like a fully developed character rather than someone whose only purpose is the romance. The skiing setting added a fun, adventurous element and gave the story a fresh atmosphere. I also enjoyed the celebrity-romance aspect: it brought that dreamy, escapist quality that makes it easy to get caught up in the relationship. The chemistry between the characters kept the story moving, and there’s a nice balance of romance, emotion, and sports. Overall, Carve Me Golden is a sweet, entertaining read with plenty of romantic appeal!
