M.T. Liu writes contemporary romance from Montreal, a city she chose for the summers and then had to learn to survive in the winters. She has lived across Asia, Europe, and North America, holds a psychology degree, and once trained in speed skating seriously enough that “going pro” was a real conversation. She can also, if the situation calls for it, perform acupuncture on herself. She has been a romantic her entire life. Writing turned out to be the thing that made all the other things make sense, and somewhere along the way, she discovered the real occupational hazard: nothing bad can happen to her anymore without a small voice whispering, oh, that's going in a book. She fully intends to keep proving that love stories never stop being interesting. Not His Girlfriend (Yet) is her debut and the first book in the Montreal Seasons series.
