Love in La La Land

This is the third book in The Race for Riches or Romance series, and another really fun reality TV romance. It can be read as a standalone, but characters from the previous books do show up again.

This season of the show moves to Hollywood, where Bria gets another shot at competing—but this time she needs a partner willing to fake a relationship with her. Enter Rick, a former cameraman on the show, who gets convinced to step in as her fake boyfriend. Of course, the producers have added extra twists, including viewer-voted outcomes and Rick’s ex-wife also joining the cast.

We get dual POVs, plenty of chemistry, and some unexpected twists as Bria and Rick navigate both the competition and their growing feelings for each other.

Overall, it’s super engaging, very romantic, and full of that reality TV chaos I enjoy. I did feel a couple of small things pulled me out of the story, but they didn’t take away from how fun it was. A satisfying read with a happy ending.
