Goddess and the Geek

Goddess and the Geek by Lisa S Gayle was a really enjoyable read. I loved the dynamic between Brednan and Gen, and Brednan in particular was such a pleasant surprise to learn more about.

Brendan is far more multifaceted than people give him credit for. While he may appear to fit the CEO nerd stereotype at first glance, there’s so much more to him beneath the surface. Brendan proves that a genuinely good guy can still ahve an edge, which made him such a compelling character to read.

I also want to call special attention to Gen’s Mom Roxy. She’s a legend of a side character.

On the flip side, Marshal was incredibly well written. Some of his scenes genuinely made me feel sick, which is a testament to how effectively he was portrayed. Because of his character and some of the themes explored in the story, I would recommend checking the trigger warnings before reading.

Overall, this was an engaging romance with great character dynamics and memorable characters.
