	Ocean going romance (4 ) A fairly gentle read that really picks up towards the end. I wanted to read this book as I live on a boat and have visited some of the places mentioned. It was pretty good at describing the life and conditions on the boat, which is nice for a change. The romance was sweet and the twist towards the end was satisfying. If you want and romance with some long distance pining and to travel the oceans this one is for you.
	Sexy but deals with issues well (4 ) I really enjoyed this book. It had twists and turns along with the romance. Camile’s life looked pretty perfect, she had just mated her alpha and was open to the rest of her life. But a video and a rash decision turn it into hell. The story is about rebuilding trust and returning to the life you had. There are some really deep subjects dealt with but they are done in a respectful way. There are mental health issues and non-consent (not between the main characters) and one pretty heavy spice chapter. I also really enjoyed the other core characters they gave different perspectives and I hope to see more of them going forward.
	Felt like a holiday (4 ) I really nice second chance holiday romance. I loved the beginning, who hasn’t at least wanted to do what Ana did and then the town became so real I felt like I had visited. I liked the building tension between her and Luca and the helpful/pushy owner of the hostel. I really enjoyed the looking back, what future do we really want themes and finding the pleasure again in our life. Overall a nice read that would be perfect for a beach read.
	Hockey romance with a difference (4 ) I really enjoyed this book. An enemies to lovers that feels worked for. It had a story line that I haven’t seen before so I really enjoyed the twists and turns. Ivy is such a strong character and I loved her way of dealing with the situations that come up. Gabriel is the hockey golden boy and doesn’t remember ruining her life. I love the confusion from him and also the conflict with his father figure it just added another layer to the story. Some spice but focused on the tension and build.
	DNF (2 ) Unfortunately I didn’t finish this book. I didn’t really like the style of writing, long repetitive sections. I didn’t really think it was enemies to lovers after one slight incident and at 45% gave up with no regrets.
	Sweet slow burn (3 ) Spoiler content – click to reveal What if 2 people you have a connection with ended up being the same person? That’s what happens to Elsie. A friend online and her manager are the same person. Could they be the perfect partner? This story is sweet and slow burn but did feel a little repetitive at times for me. I nice story about find yourself as well as finding love.
	A mixed bag for me (3 ) The blurb for this book really intrigued me, and I was looking forward to reading it. Some sections really had me hooked, with deep characters and plot twists. Then there were other sections where the language got really weird, and it was a little hard to follow. I get that the author was trying to show the difference between the American and the dragons, in culture and language used, but sometimes I just got distracted by it and it took me out of the story. Overall it was a good book, but I didn't have that need to carry on reading I get with some. Great is you like knotting, women who are worshipped by two men and political intrigue with your spice.
	Twin switching fun (4 ) Spoiler content – click to reveal I've read a few of Gayle's books now, and this is one of my favourites. Think Parent Trap if it were for adults and included boyfriends instead of parents. The twins Mallory and Danielle couldn't be more different. One is business-minded and hasn't had a vacation for years, and the other reads her horoscope every morning. When the best friend of one is getting married, the other covers at work for her. I loved the banter and fun that ensued, and a little spice was great too. A little predictable, but that was half the fun; you know where we will end up, but how are we going to get there? Gayle is on my must-read list now.
	Promising start to a new series. (4 ) I really enjoyed this book. It is technically linked to the Riches or Romance series, since we met Brenden, but you don't need to have read them to enjoy this book, as it is the start of its own series. Gigi is a stunning marketing whizz with a past. Brenden is a millionaire CEO. I love how the story developed. Her past catching up with her, the building of trust and relationships after years of hiding and the end French kiss I have really enjoyed other books by Lisa, and this one didn't let me down.
