enjoyed this quick read. The characters are opposites but keep getting drawn together.
Their close proximity adds to the tension between them and the slow burn is a great build up. The end was the only real issue I had because it was to open ended for me. I would like to see what happens next.

This book is everything I look for in a dark mafia romance. It’s packed with danger, tension and possessive men. The storyline is fantastic. I loved the characters. This is truly a must read!

This is a dark academia romance. It has a balance of romance suspense with some mystery. The MMC is exactly the unlikable guy that he’s supposed to be. There were a few other crazy characters that came out to make you question who the real trouble is. It’s a YA book so it’s not a dark romance that crosses all the boundaries. For a first in the series it does a lot of world building. This is a good book and I look forward to what’s next.
