This FMC is the fantasy-world woman I want to be; strong, badass, Captain of her own “misfit” team with trust, loyalty, “touch her and unalive” vibes (from the whole team).
This book has assignments/missions, slow burn, and most importantly a plot that flows very well. There isn’t a lot of filler and it seems everything is important to remember for later.

This book was so intense, it leans heavily into mental health and how the mind is so important to keep in shape for lack of a better word. I am still loving this baddie FMC. Shes one of my top 10 she reminds me of Aelin (TOG). What I was not ready for was the plot of this book and where it took us. Book 3 is going to be soooo good I already know it.
