The Witches of Serna: Book I of the War of the Mountains

Too long. Too long had his people lived in the harsh mountains. Oygariyet, greatest hobgoblin of these times receives a divine mission: reclaim the birthright of his people. Oygariyet and his allies rally and muster a mighty army of armies to descend from the bitter cold mountains and take back what belongs to them.

The Prince of Yvel, answering the call of his people dispatches several battalions and rides to the aid of one of his vassals. The orcs had come down from the mountains for the first time in generations. But this should be an easy task. He had sent General Mot Gundr’ail to Borly and rides himself to relieve the town of Serna with two battalions and his crown guard.
