Book Review Offsite

"While reading the story of Stephan and Katie, you will be tossed back and forth between a religious mindset and a lawyer mindset. You will be shown the similarities with how they can hurt and help your religious beliefs and your career.

The story is written with a suspenseful feel to it just to see if they will get caught and who the leak is. There was a mention of BDSM in the blurb for the book but there were only 3 scenes I believe (but a constant mindset/reminder of submissiveness)."

All five short stories were 4-4.5🌶️. Each one gets spicier and adds more people to the mix.

The story was very thought out with the feelings between Richard and Holly. No matter your opinion on the taboo issue, you can feel the love that the two have for eachother.

Quick read (4 )

This book was a quick read. There were times that it was kind of difficult to read or keep interest due to the author's continuous reminder that the FMC is neurodivergent/autistic tendencies. The kink spice was perfect for the story.

When someone has been stuck on the same pathway for a long time, that is the only way they can see things and the future is easily predictable. Grace had been that way for most of her marriage until she met Jake. Meeting Jake was just by happenstance (or so she thought) and he showed her how life could be. This book follows Grace through her decision to either indulge in how things could be or continue with her life and how she thinks they should be.
