This was my first ever arc so I was both excited and nervous to read this book, but what an honour it has been!! Not only is this book beautifully written; from the first page, I was captivated and I just couldn't put it down! I loved the way the book was written using a dual pov, and the encrypted messages embedded into the story, which included the reader to take part in the mystery and secrets. I also loved how the book incorporated the balance between the beauty of music and danger, which made this book so refreshing and fun to read. The chemistry between the protagonists, Mia and Matteo, was unmatched and the sexual tension between them was paced perfectly! One of the many things I loved about this book was the relationships and dynamics between every character. Each one had their own unique personality, and the banter and sweet interactions made this book a true joy to read, and instantly made me yearn to be apart of this world. It wasn't a surprise that Matteo has made his way onto my list of book boyfriends, and how could I not? He's hot, mysterious and dangerous, but most of all a loving and protective uncle. I also loved the independence and fiestiness of Mia, and the way their lives intertwined like fate, despite the secrets holding them back. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone who loves banter, secrets, and a slow burn. It truly is a masterpiece and I can't wait to read more from this talented author!
