Overall, a good read. This book was a slow start and hard to keep reading. It was a bit over the top of sweetness. Parts were also cheesy which I found annoying even if it was meant to be read that way.

I love a good MC romance read! This MC Beast (Leif) is rough, scary looking and a total softie when it comes to Annika's 2-year-old son. This was a quick read and leaves readers with a cliffhanger. Sitting on needles till the next book.

I am glad I kept at this book. The first half of the bit felt too long, and I kept putting it down and coming back to it. I think some things could have been cut out that wasn't important. The second half was awesome as things started happening (and falling apart)! I loved the banter between Sebastian and his Boston Renegades teammates. There were many LOL moments! I can't wait for the next book in this interconnected series!

This was a new author to me and one I will read again! The book was spicy and suspenseful. Slow burn romances can be boring to me, but this book held my attention. I loved Mia and how she stood up to Matteo. Matteo comes across as harsh and grumpy but he really has a soft heart, especially for his niece, Alessandra. Good read!

Ivy has hated Gabriel for 7 years. She hasn't seen him for 7 years. When he walks into her bar, though, he doesn't understand or remember what happened. As he searches for the truth, someone is trying to close down Ivy's bar. Ivy is a strong, FC, and we learn a lot about her. Gabriel is harder to get to know and honestly, I had a hard time believing they fell for each other.

Although I received this book for free from Pen Pinery, this has not influenced my review.

This was my first read by this author. The writing was strong and the characters were well written. It was hard to watch Tensi disappear into a controlling relationship with Branwell. The killer made no sense and felt like the reason came out of left field with no warning.
