A lovely story about self discovery and self acceptance and that it's okay to be different. And to not see difference as a liability but to seek out the similarities that we share with others.
The story of Maci and Roland was a fun and funny read especially Roland's antics and Maci being flustered and in turn makes some new friends to share the joys of living in Whimsyville together. A great book for middle graders or for yourself if you enjoy children's books!
The storybook illustrations were quite well done, a sort of mixed media art I found enjoyable to look at.
