Over the past year, we’ve worked closely with authors and ARC readers across genres. One thing has become clear through usage, feedback, and market research: romance authors need a better, more focused ARC platform.
That’s why Pen Pinery is beginning a Romance-first pivot, with a fully dedicated Romance ARC experience launching over the next 3 months.
What This Means for Romance Authors
Romance is the most ARC-driven genre in publishing, yet there is no platform built specifically for romance workflows, reader expectations, and release strategies. We’re changing that.
Our Romance ARC focus will prioritize:
- Faster ARC distribution for romance releases
- Highly engaged romance ARC readers
- Tools designed around romance tropes, subgenres, and rapid release cycles
- A cleaner signal for reviews, feedback, and early buzz
This is not a generic ARC system retrofitted for romance. It’s being built for romance from the ground up.
What About Existing Authors?
Pen Pinery will continue supporting current ARC authors during this transition period. Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out updates carefully while ensuring existing campaigns are not disrupted.
As we move forward, our long-term focus will center on delivering the strongest possible ARC results in the romance space.
