We're excited to announce a new feature for authors: you can now select and display your book's Point of View (POV) when creating or updating a project.

Why this matters: readers often have strong preferences about POV, and it can be one of the biggest factors in deciding whether a story feels like the right fit. By making POV visible up front, you'll help potential ARC readers quickly understand if your book matches their reading style.

What's new


We've made some improvements to make pages load faster and use less data:

  • Optimized book cover images: When you upload a book cover, the site now automatically creates smaller, optimized versions for faster loading.
  • Lazy loading for all images: Images now load only when they appear on your screen, so pages display faster and use less bandwidth.


Don't worry, your book covers will still look the same, just load faster.

Better applicant email notifications for authors

Instead of sending you an email every time someone applies to your ARC we're now going to batch send once an hour. This change keeps your inbox clean and makes it easier to review new applications at a glance. We're doing this because high demand ARCs are causing us to send multiple emails per hour.


With hourly batching you can:

  • See all pending applications grouped together
  • Spend less time digging through scattered notifications
  • Make faster approval decisions without distraction


This keeps the focus on your readers while giving you back control of your email flow.
