He had a calling. She was in need. The Lord works in mysterious ways.

Shortly after his engagement to the prettiest girl at Brigham Young University, God called the elders of the Church with a message for Aaron: It was time to serve as a missionary—just for the summer.

But Aaron must have been doing a really good job, because God kept calling to extend his mission.

Years later and painfully homesick, twenty-two-year-old Aaron is sent to the affluent neighborhood of Sterling Heights.

When he knocks on the door of Ivy St. Clair, a stunning 39-year-old former model and neglected trophy wife, he is encouraged by just how eager she seems to receive the Good News.

But Ivy has a few teachings of her own to share with Aaron.

Because Ivy sees what the elders and everyone but him can: He's a man now.

Missionary is a literary dark satire and tongue-in-cheek, cougar-induced cumming-of-age story exploring the intersection of faith and corruption through one young man's very unorthodox journey to spiritual awakening.
