There were parts of this book that I really enjoyed, and then others that confused or seemed slow to me.

Let me start with what I enjoyed. I loved the set-up. The shy girl who needs a nudge to interact with people. The idea that people will fill a gap with the name of someone they knew rather than say 'I'm sorry, who are you?' I also thought the focus on therapy and self-reflection was great.

What confused me. I spent quite a few chapters thinking 'why does he still think this?' she told him. So much so that I went back and reread the chapter, still confused. When they went over things again, I was with the MFC, she told him. I get that it was a plot twist, but I just felt confused and a bit annoyed.

The pacing for me felt slow, but if you like slow burn finding trust, then this story is great for you. I found the 'issues' that Evan has a bit repetitive, and it didn't make me want to carry on reading. I made it to the end, and it has a nice story arc, but it just ended up being a book I wanted to finish rather than savour.

I have really enjoyed book 1 in this series, book 2 was a little disappointing (not bad just not as good), but I thought I would give this one a chance and I'm so glad I did. It had all the fun and reality show antics of book 1 that I had missed slightly in book 2.

We have new and old characters, conflict and romance all rounded up in challenges from the show and from personal histories.

We met Bria in the first book, and she is back on the show again (she has her reasons), and she needs a partner, so Cooper suggests Rick (Goatie camera guy). We have more of the challenges discussed on the page, and I think that is what I missed in book 2, so this was great.

With twists and turns a-plenty this kept me hooked. It was a really fun read that kept me thinking, 'just one more chapter'. I look forward to reading more from the author.

This book starts as the last one ended, with part of the pack heading to the human world. It would definitely help if you have read the first book, as a lot of the character and world-building was done there, and I think people who haven't read it would be quite confused.

As with the first this book doesn't have an ending. Some of the story has progressed, new twists have appeared, but there isn't a definitive ending, since there is another book to come. I like having a satisfying ending in my books, even if there is more of the story to come, so if I read them again, I would read them as one book, back to back.

That being said, the story is well written, the characters develop even more, and the world expands, making it an enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this book. It is technically linked to the Riches or Romance series, since we met Brenden, but you don't need to have read them to enjoy this book, as it is the start of its own series.

I love how the story developed. Her past catching up with her, the building of trust and relationships after years of hiding and the end *French kiss*

I have really enjoyed other books by Lisa, and this one didn't let me down.

The blurb for this book really intrigued me, and I was looking forward to reading it.

Some sections really had me hooked, with deep characters and plot twists. Then there were other sections where the language got really weird, and it was a little hard to follow. I get that the author was trying to show the difference between the American and the dragons, in culture and language used, but sometimes I just got distracted by it and it took me out of the story.

Overall it was a good book, but I didn't have that need to carry on reading I get with some.

Unfortunately I didn’t finish this book. I didn’t really like the style of writing, long repetitive sections. I didn’t really think it was enemies to lovers after one slight incident and at 45% gave up with no regrets.
