Yesterday, I officially launched my very first book: Mortal Love, Book 1 in the Realms of the After series — and I’m still trying to put into words what that feels like.
This story has been a true labor of love. I poured my heart into these pages—late nights, early mornings, and all the moments in between where I kept showing up to write even when life was loud and busy. Mortal Love holds pieces of my imagination, my emotions, and honestly… my soul. And now it’s out in the world.
There’s something surreal about building a realm from just words—turning scenes, characters, and entire worlds that lived only in my head into something you can actually hold, read, and feel. Sharing something that personal is exciting, but it’s also emotional in a way I didn’t fully expect. There’s a vulnerable kind of courage in pressing “publish” on something you’ve carried for so long. But I’m doing it—because stories are meant to be shared, and I’m ready for this one to find its readers.
I Can’t Wait to Hear What You Think
If you pick up Mortal Love, I would truly love to hear your thoughts. Messages, comments, reviews—any of it. Knowing what you connected with (or screamed about 👀) means the world to me, and it helps more than you know.
A Quick Note About a Small Formatting Hiccup
I also want to be transparent: there was a slight hiccup during the format conversion that caused some odd spacing and a few double paragraphs. The good news is it has been fixed, and it will not be like that when it releases March 18 on Amazon.
Thank You, Truly
To everyone supporting me—sharing posts, cheering me on, taking a chance on a new author—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your encouragement and your time are not small things. Without readers who are willing to try new stories and new voices, authors like me wouldn’t be able to reach our dreams.
With gratitude and so much love,
K. Rosé
